 penguin's a turtle surfer ~! xD haha xD this was requested by my friend during culture lesson @.@ we have our zoo everywhere we go so ~ xD [as the lesson gets more boring, we have random ideas like a penguin being a turtle surfer ._.]

December (XII)'s painting  LONGEST LUNAR ECLIPSEpersonally i like this one the most out of the 12 paintings :D because the colours blue, pink, yellow go together really well, making the night sky pretty >w< with the lunar eclipse at the corner (: the water reflection ~ turned out pretty well to my surprise ~ [just went about it by luck, hoping it will turn out okay :O] Labels: coursework, XII

October (X)'s painting  MT MERAPI ERUPTSunlike the rest, this one is done mostly in one colour: grey! [with only slight blue for the sky] its grey gray and GREY because the volcanic ash from mt merapi basically covered the whole area ~ so no signs of colour [on the ground] can be seen D: people, furniture and houses ~ all buried under the thick layer of ash this painting shows the aftermath of it ~ where people helplessly fall under the attack of volcanic ash D: Labels: coursework, X

September (IX)'s painting  LANDSLIDE IN OAXCA, MEXICOdecided to show a smalllll section (but nevertheless significant) part of the landslide ~ WHERE VEHICLES ARE SINKING AND A PERSON IS DESPERATELY (the hand the hand!) CALLING FOR HELP WHILE SINKING IN THE MUD ~ :O i think the vehicles are pretty obvious at the two corners ~ the black patch beside the hand is actually part of the head (: [the rest are submerged ~ :O] Labels: coursework, IX

August (VIII)'s painting  YOUTH OLYMPIC GAMES HELD IN SINGAPOREsomehow managed to fit most of the official sports in the YOG in the painting @_@ [left out some like triathlon which overlaps with some of the other sports o.o] the idea of this is to show how each sport interact with each other, in their own area to make the YOG a successful and vibrant event :D Labels: coursework, VIII

July (VII)'s painting  WIKILEAKS~wikileaks became WIKI THE TAP LEAKS xD the leakage over the globe is to represent the leakage of information across the globe ~ then the part where the land turned black (when wiki tap water goes over) is to show how wikileaks has revealed their corruption/dirty deeds/secrets they have hid from the public ~ (and hence repsented by the colour black) Labels: coursework, VII
