Artist Statement Artist Statement Current affairs are the top stories of happenings across the world. However, people often forget about these important news of the past if they are not recorded. This coursework, titled 2010, focused on the news that happened in that year. As 2010 has just passed, the news will be more familiar to people. The top headlines of each month in 2010 is chosen and portrayed in the form of a painting. A reason for this is that “a picture paints a thousand words.” People tend to remember pictures, drawings and photographs more easily. This coursework will also provide an easier medium for pre teens and teenagers to understand and remember these news.  submitted this for a photography competition in our school o_o [i think it was sec 1 or 2 o.o] got shortlisted in the finals :D but this shot was really a fluke shot :O just stood there during our school tour conducted by my chinese teacher (? i think she was bored o_o) then snap. and it came out nicely ~ :D [the sun's rays! O.O]

 we took a longggggg time to decide on the front design TT because it was difficult to come out with anything that can fit with our soft toys filled back design :O and thanks to sheng chun (! :D) somehow we managed to do so ~ [and finally the design for class tee was finalised a few weeks before camp @.@ shall not mention the troubles we went through to print them :O]  411 class tee back design :D credits to sheng chun who had a hard time identifying the lines i sketched when underlining the whole thing with pen D: (gomen D:) photoshopping it was ~ terrible as well D: [BUT YAY IT TURNED OUT WELL ~ SO EFFORTS WERE PAID OFF (:] Labels: class tee
